Kyle Goetsch is a South African nature and wildlife photographer, photography educator and workshop leader based in Cape Town. His photography takes him across Southern Africa and beyond, capturing wildlife, landscapes, seascapes and the night sky.

After leaving a career in science to pursue photography full-time, Kyle has built a career around exploring wild places and sharing his passion for photography through workshops, photographic tours, courses and educational content.

His approach is simple: explore more, photograph better and see the natural world differently.

Why travel with me?

Photography is best learned in the field. My workshops are designed around real photographic opportunities, from dramatic light and changing weather to wildlife encounters and spectacular landscapes. With small groups and hands-on guidance, I’ll help you understand how to read a scene, make creative decisions and get the most from your camera, while experiencing some of Southern Africa’s most incredible places. The goal is simple: better photography, new skills and an adventure you’ll remember long after you get home.
